AlphaNZ has a team of field service and workshop technical support engineers with experience in server, network and desktop management in Microsoft, Netware and Linux products. Our engineering team is industry trained and qualified with the practical experience to back that up.

Suppliers
AlphaNZ has preferential business partner relationships with many of its suppliers providing strong links back into these organisations that produce real benefits to the customer base. We are Hewlett Packard and IBM authorised reseller, and have business partnerships with Microsoft, Intel, Cisco, Symantec, Veritas, Sonicwall and Computer Associates among others.

Alpha New Zealand (AlphaNZ) is a business partnership between John Roche and Wayne Douglas, and has been operating in this form since July 2001, prior to that (1998) the business was run under the name of Alpha Business Solutions by John Roche.

John Roche
John heads the marketing and sales side of Alpha New Zealand. John has over 17 years experience in the IT market where he has held a number of key management positions. Through these roles he has developed excellent sales & marketing skills, a strong understanding of business needs with an extensive technical and product knowledge base. John leads the marketing, sales and technical side of the business.

John is a long time resident on the Kapiti Coast with strong links into the community. He is married to Sharne and they have two adult children. 

Wayne Douglas
Wayne leads the finance, accounts and administration side of Alpha New Zealand. Prior to AlphaNZ Wayne had worked in the banking industry for 22 years in New Zealand as well as overseas. His particular area of expertise was in Foreign Exchange and Money Markets where he held a number of senior management positions. This experience has given him a sound understanding of best business practice, particularly in the area of finance and management. 

Wayne has lived in the Wellington area since 1975 and moved with his family to the Kapiti Coast in early 1996. He has a strong desire to see our community develop and prosper both socially and economically. He is married to Janine and they have four children.

Our Information Technology Division - AlphaIT. 

Where we sell and support all brands of IT hardware, software and consumables. AlphaIT assembles and supports its own server (DataRaid) and desktop (AlphaNZ) range, tailor made to your particular requirements. Our Digital CCTV Security Division - AlphaSecurity. 

Where we are able to supply most digital surveillance products including our Sentry Series DVR Surveillanve Systems. We have CCTV cameras, both indoor and external with accessories. We also install, train, maintain and support all our DVR systems. We have industry licensed personnel.

Our Networking & Services Division - AlphaServices. 

Where we offer a wide range of support and service options and contracts. We have field services engineers with industry qualifactions and practical experiences that can attend to a range of client requirements whether onsite or in our workshop facilities. We have a helpdesk, repair and warranty centre in our Kapiti Offices that handle most support matters. Our key alliances with our suppliers especially Hewlett Packard, IBM , Microsoft and Intel allows us the opportunity to provide you with possible the best support structure in the region.

Our Logistics & Integration Management Division - AlphaIM.

Where we are able to supply a complete range of Point of Sale hardware, software and services especially in the Hospitality areana

We were recently appointed a Authorised Vodafone Reseller for there Datplanes and smart phones.
